So I have a macbook and I want to be able to wake it up when I want to access Airvideo when i am traveling.

What do I need to remotely wake my macbook so that the air video server is accessible.

I already have air video installed on my ipad2.

In the Energy Saver preferences on you MacBook there is an option to Wake for network access. I don't know if this will work for you, but it's a good place to start.
