Add password to folder or applications

Does anyone know about a application that could protect my folder or applications when my iPad is being used by a third person? I have pictures that I don't want other people to see. Any recommendations?

There are picture safes in the App store. Lots of them... I use one that looks like a calculator...

GoodReader allows to protect folders with a paasword.
