    The iPad is going to open up new era in digital advertising and completely change the traditional way of print ads.     That could get REALLY annoying...as long as they keep it passive and allow bypass with a swipe and don't force you to watch an intro in order to skip it it will be ok.

    This could be the new age of advertising or the new age of spamming.

    Well the reason I think passive advertising would be best is 1 for the nag factor and also because everytime you open an issue it could change. With print the ads are forever with a digital device they can be dynamically changed every day if the publisher chooses to!
