Just out of curiosity, if you're working in Pages on your iPad 2 and you accidentally delete something, is there a way to get it back?

There is an undo button.

Just out of curiosity, if you're working in Pages on your iPad 2 and you accidentally delete something, is there a way to get it back?

Use the undo to delete and the undo to redo... Hold the undo the down until it turns to redo, then tap redo and what you deleted will return. This help can be found in help menu, which you open via the wrench icon top right.
