I like the idea but I don't think that is going to happen. Reason being that next year gen 2 will likely have a camera maybe 2 and apple know that people will swarm the apple store to get it. Apple didn't put everything in the first iPad for a reason. I think that this gen was gonna have a camera but apple know that it would sell with or without one so they decided to hold off until the second generation
