A little help please

    I'm new to iPad, however I've had my iPhone awhile. My Verizon FIOS email won't send from my iPad. The setting are the same as in my phone and I'm not sure what is going on. I can receive email just won't send. Any thoughts?

    When you try to send an email what exactly happens? Does the mail go to the Outbox and simply never get transmitted or does the iPad generate an error?

    Let us know and we'll try to find a solution.

    It goes to my outbox and never leaves. I can switch accounts and it will go then. Thanks for your help.

    OK - that is strange. Can you try this? Compose an email and hit send but don't change accounts. Now hit the refresh button on the bottom left hand side of the screen (the circular arrow shape). Does it go then?
