I don't know if this is Apple acknowledging the issue, or if it was intentional bahavior from the begining (and support people were out of the loop.

That's interesting. I never had this "Bluetooth pairing request" from Apple Pencil as shown in this Apple article!

Ah. Forget what I said. This will show up at the first pairing with AP plugged in…

That was pointed out to me on the Apple Website by another member. So why did it act different before 9.3 update. I've come to accept this is the way now, even though I liked it the original way it worked when I got my IPP.
