When trying to watch a video on Facebook, I'm told I need Adobe Flash Player. My daughter, who also has an iPad Mini can view the same video with no problem. We are both using the Facebook app. Can you suggest what might be different between the two of them. I'm thinking a setting?

Thanks

Are you both using the most recent version of iOS (iOS 6.1.3)? Otherwise I can't think of a reason for this. You can try the usual fixes, below, and see if they help.

The usual fixes:

When you have problems with an app it's a good idea to clear it from RAM.

Close/Clear the app: With the problem app closed, double tap on the Home button to get the multitask bar. Tap and hold on any icon in the bar until they jiggle, then tap the minus sign on the problem app. This will remove it from RAM and insure a clean start the next time you launch the app.

If that does not work try a restart,

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

No. There is no Flash enabling app in the App Store.

There are some third party browsers that will work with most Flash web sites. They do this by running/converting the site on a remote server. Flash does not run on the iPad itself, and there is no way to install or enable it. That includes jaibreaking and the Cydia store.

Adobe does have several apps in the App Store. None of them have anything to do with Flash.
