    Attaching document(s) to e-mail on iPad 3.

    Please how does one attach document(s) when sending an e-mail on iPad 3? Can anyone kindly help out?

    it depends what youre attaching but some of the files have the little arrow with "share" so you can send by email or I think you can copy/paste the files as well

    Thank you.
    You have to think opposite from what you are used to when using a computer. On the iPad, you have to be in the app (program) that is running the file. Then, you e-mail from within the app by selecting to (as Unleashed pointed out). It's not like a computer where the Mail program can/does dip into a file storage area to select a document.

    Takes a bit of getting used to, but that's the way iOS and Apple roll (it's for security reasons).

    Hope this clarifies.

    You can only "attach" from an app
