On research trip this Skate was found. It's a large bottom fish. I'm awed by it's face. This was near Ushagat island, Alaska.
Seen while on research trip. This is in the middle of nowhere. No human habitats anywhere.

Augustine volcanic island.
Scallop "Smores". LOL, that's what the scientists called them. Scallops, crackers, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and pesto.
Here the scientist are sorting and cataloguing "life forms" found.
Then these are released back to the sea.
I don't know if I have any more pictures quite like that. Just different kinds of pictures from the research trip. Pictures of the volcano island...
