I can recommend the irig and iklip, but don't know much about the apps! Sorry!
You could also buy an iRig and connect that with the Line-Out of the keyboard.
SampleTank for iPhone and iRig MIDI sounds like it'll fit your needs. I'm loving mine!
Hmm... Brought home the irig but no luck getting it to work with GarageBand. No signal. It there a secret?
The iPad does not have a line-in connection, so you have to rely on external hardware to connect it. The iRig should do the job.
Not a dock or exercise equipment, but when I got my iRig (the digital one) it came with both 30 pin and Lightning connectors.
Many thanks for the replies.
I think an iRig pre may be a sensible solution for me. Maybe I will try putting a sock in it first though ;-)
The only mic you could use is a Bluetooth one unless you could plug a regular one in iRig with AmpliTube?
buying the iRig is too easy. You are correct that this is the DIY section, so the point is, well, doing it yourself.

Thank you for the info! I'll have a look.
Sent from my iPad using iPF
For me, Amplitube, including an FX bundle for it, around £30.
Plus another £30 or so for the iRig connector and amp cables you need too.
iRig is meant for guitars and most of them are mono. It's also meant to be used with AmpliTube.

Apogee are good, but there are cheaper options. The iRig Mic should be cheaper, check out Apple's Store for other options.
