Has anyone seen reports of Bricked iPads while using spiritjb to jail break?
The SpiritJB fix for iTunes 9.2 caused the error.
I was able to restore back to 3.2 and jailbreak using older version of iTunes.
Oh right only I was reading on spiritjb that there was?
Although I eventually decided that I no longer wanted to use it, I also was running Categories successfully on the iPad with 3.2.1.
The SpiritJB website you're looking for is not a credible site as I'm assuming it's not exactly www.spiritjb.com, which is down, and only houses...
...site, remove 9.2 off of your system, install 9.1.1, then use the Spiritjb, then reinstall iTunes 9.2.

...not to jailbreak the iPad. It is simply a much better device when jail broken.

Your iPad is not jailbroken? That's the whole point of this thread isn't it - to show how it's possible to jailbreak under iTunes 9.2?

Godscape, like Rlanger said, you are not blocking youself from the app store, you're just expanding on what is available.
I used spiritjb *the one that supports itune 9.2 and was able to jaibreak my ipad.
Unfortunately, a lot of default apps...
Categories does work on the iPad, i had it running smooth on 3.2 with spiritjb and 3.2.1 with jailbreakme.com
I even use categoriesb along with it.
