At this time there are no known viruses that can infect stock iDevices.
That's not to say that there won't be in the future, but at least for now you are safe.

Thx so much for getting back to me . Really appreciate all the help I get Lol
No AntiVirus needed. iOS is designed with security in mind, and doesn't let apps interfere with each other or the system itself, which is the main cause of viruses on Windows.
lucky for us unlike android the ios got virus chance is very super slim to none![]()
I know you don't need one for apps, but what if you're paying bills on your iPad?
The fact of the matter is, AV software doesn't even exist for iPad.Originally Posted by sienagail

That is a different issue. There is no chance of getting a virus, no matter what use you are putting it to. Your question concerns network security. Don't pay your bills in Starbucks. Use your own secure network and you should be OK.Originally Posted by sienagail

That is true, of course. As someone pointed out a few weeks ago, the only company that could possibly write an AV app is Apple, because it would need so many hooks into iOS that no other developer would get it into the App Store.Originally Posted by MoonlitSonata
