I know that I'm a bit off topic here but due to the tenuous link to my original backyard photo I had to post this link http://www.leeds-castle.com/goto.php...4119+F54+F+C42

We went to a Christmas party in the Fairfax Hall, it was amazing, the trees either side of the drive up to the castle were full of fairy lights then we had a guided tour of the castle with a mulled wine reception (Ivy, you'd love the furnishings in the rooms in the castle) and the meal and dancing were magical......might just go for a night in the Maidens Tower next time!

It is magical and it was almost in my backyard......! Don't forget your golf clubs, they have their own fantastic course, you should check out the rest of the website......the duckery, maze, vineyard and grounds are just spectacular!

I have now updated my wish list of things we could have in Michigan...mountains and castles. I think golfing there would be way to distracting for me--playing in such beauty an also history!

The duckery is interesting, I need to check that out also. One of these days I will get there!

When you get to the middle you end up in an underground grotto which a staircase leads from to a tower looking out over the rest of the maze.....it's a-maze-ing!
