I like Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman (sometimes she's a bit too much), but I'm listening to a mix of Placido Domingo right now.
Another classic singer.

I must try to find the link to a comparison between Sarah Brightman and Sissel singing the same piece. Sarah with neck veins bulging as she projects her, admittedly, beautiful voice, as Sissel just calmly and almost nonchalantly delivers the song with as much, if not more power than Sarah.Quote:

The End, by the Doors
I saw this performed live in Edmonton. As we were discussing the beauty of the female voice, I thought it was time to dig it out.
Aria, by Yanni. For those not familiar with him, he's the dude in the white shirt. He plays the piano, writes and arranges all of his music, and just in case that's not talented enough represented Greece in the Olympics as a swimmer at age 14. Some people seem to have it all!

Which gives me an excuse to plug my favorite Yanni piece, Reflections of Passion, this version at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Robbie Williams from his Swing When You're Winning album.

Not close (in my opinion) Sissel performed an amazing song while Sarah flashed some technical ability. Sissel wins.Quote:
