It's part of a carved out pumpkin shell for Halloween. The shell will contain a light source, such as a night light candle, with the light showing out of the face carved into the shell.
I hope the pumpkin contents will end up in a pie, rather than the rubbish! Unfortunately! perfectly good pumpkin flesh is trashed in the UK!
