When you take them out of the packet they look horrible and don't smell much better but..........

10mins in the oven then sprinkle them with the included Tangerine flavoured sugar and they look and taste amazing.......the best mince pies that I have ever had!

One thing to note.....they are incredibly rich.....I can easily scoff down a box of mince pies on my own but I struggled with four of these and I felt if for the rest of the day but hey, that's what you get for being greedy!

Speaking of Heston Blumenthal I just watched Heston's Fantastical Food on 4OD where he made the worlds biggest ice cream and cone......the man is truly mad, yet amazing at the same time!

Now what is the red drizzle on the veggies, AA?

I have spareribs in marinade sitting in the fridge. I'll roast those later along with some sweet dumpling squash. Will also make some mash potatoes....oh, I also have some sauerkraut I made up earlier this afternoon.

We will have a nice dinner tonight!:)
