Did anyone go to the Chelsea Garden Show. Great TV viewing, but expensive tickets. Were the show gardens more restrained sculpture and hard landscape wise? A reflection on the economic times?

Oh, heck, I forgot to watch it! I'll have to catch up. I bought some lovely herbs and flowers yesterday, Richard. Geraniums with leaves that when rubbed, smell of oranges and other lovely smells. They have lovely aromas when in the heat of the day too. I also bought two of my favourite herb, tangerine sage! They smell like tangerine and you can put them into fruit drinks as well! I bought a potted plant with 6 different plants for £5. My bargain for the day. I think he didn't want to take it home again. It was very heavy for me.
Richard our garden is happy as the wet season has just finished
It makes you want to draw up a lounger and enjoy a rum punch or two. Paradise.Quote:

There was just sand here 5 years ago
Lots of hard work and driving into the bush to beg borrow and steel ( only joking) plants
It's winter here so not a lot of things in flower
We have 7 meters of per year
