This is why I finally left Colorado for Southern California
Fort Worth has added a lot of places after those years, they got a new hotel, new condominium skyscraper, New Chesapeake Plaza and there renovated abandoned part of the city, I've seen a lot of construction in the Uptown part if Fort WorthOriginally Posted by zstairlessone

Is it bad to wish that a tornado hits your Cities Downtown? ( But people would know where it's hitting so everyone would evacuate ) The only reason I wished that in my city, it's because that's the only way the city and its companies remodel there old buildings, I know it's messed up but Fort Worth had a tornado in 2001 and they had to demolish buildings. The buildings that where demolished got restored the second the garbage was gone, and Fort Worth added more Modern Buildings![]()
On this picture if you look at the square building to your right, that was destroyed by the tornado and rebuilt
The Skyscraper to your left use to be a office building that also got destroyed but was rebuilt and is now a condominium, *Sigh lol looks like the only way my city will look newer is if there's a tornado that damages everything. :/ oh well
Yay Where I live we made the list of the fastest growing cities again for 2013 of the first month, this is like the 15th time Dallas-FortWorth-Arlington has Been in the top 10 fastest growing cities according to Forbes (very reliable site) and Houston has dropped to 6th, Austin is 1st and DFW has also been ranked 2nd in the "Places that Americans are relocating to" according to Yahoo!News (DFW was also ranked second in the fastest growing cities for 2012 and beginning of 2013) I love it here according to the cities information DFW will eventually have the majority if people employed and unemployment will be super low, houses are cheap, DFW has a booming economyDFW has also been known to host many events and has joined a bid for the X Games by ESPN and has made an Olympic game bid for the year 2024 (Dallas is ranked 9th out of 50 cities in the US as a sport city and is the biggest sport city in Texas) We already hosted the Superbowl and might be able to again in 4 years
If they had work in my industry I would live to go back there especially with all the changes since I left 10 years ago.
Yay Fort Worth will now be home to the largest airline company in the worldThe company is moving from Phoenix, Arizona to Fort Worth, Texas (Where I live) So DFW is going to add even more jobs
Nice, that will make it even easier to get in and out ofOriginally Posted by Powered Player
But since there isn't many airlines anymore there is no need for competition so the prices of a plane ticket should be more expensive :/ and planes need fuel which may also be a factor for raising the price of tickets
