42nd precinct, Yankee Stadium area, Miles and I were awoken by bagpipes. What, BAGPIPES!!! So we got out of bed and went our beloved terrace to see what was going on. I thought someone might have died so I wanted to pay my respects, just in case. Still not sure, they went on to march around the corner where there is a church and bagpipes stopped. So may-be.

Dallas World Class Gold Course? So according to the media in the DFW area Dallas is planning to make a World Class golf course, which will have a view from downtown, but it shall be in the middle of a forest. The problem is that Dallas City Council says that the World Class golf course will be to expensive for Low, Middle, and Mid-High Class Residents (Basically only the rich-billionaires would be able to pay enough money to play in the golf course), So the city might make the golf course less good looking so the value can drop so people from Dallas can have enough money to play.

I <3 Fort Worth because at night the cities' downtown an uptown come to life, and Fort Worth is known as one of the USA's cities that has "revived there city" and Fort Worth is in the top 10 best cities to live in (according to Forbes), and for a city with a population over 700,000 people we have an extremely low crime rate, and the city is predicted to reach a population over 1 million by 2030. Even though most people haven't heard of Fort Worth this place is great! We started off as a Fort then we had the Stockyards aka Cowtown, then we turned into a small town, and now we are a big city! Here's a pic(s) I took from the parking lot in Down town

This is "Bass Hall" where there's plays and there's angels with golden trumpets

I will try taking pics of Cowtown (use to be the downtown of the city but now it's a different section of the city)

Lived there for two years and you didn't mention the Amon Carter, the Modern or the Kimbell, all great places to go again and again (was there for the old and new modern)
Really loved the town, got there right after the tornado damaged Bank 1 building. Has a nice little Zoo, a beautiful campus TCU, great bike riding (used to ride and skate next to the river), really nice botanical gardens - just a wonderful place to live.
Much better than Dallas, not near the traffic, but only TCU for sports had to go over to the dark side for any pro sports (or Arlington)

I really can't take sides, I'm from Ft Worth but Dallas has the "Big City" feeling in the South Central US. I like Fort Worth because it has a peaceful feeling to it, and I'll love it when they add new mid rises on the Islands that they are making. I can't wait to go on a boat, in the trinity river, and I also can't wait for the river walk

I'm just clarifying that an island is surrounded by water, and that is what the city is doing with the river, they are going to surround a large area of land with canals and the Trinity River.

What year did you live in Fort Worth? And why did you move, most websites claim Fort Worth will add more jobs, for example if they loose about 400 jobs, an industry or company moves in and offer twice as that amount. Fort Worth is predicted to have a super low unemployed rate (which is good) Hopefully the city will add more tall buildings

When I was in Massachusetts I lived on this little lake for a couple of years just outside of Springfield and my neighbor used to feed these wild feral cats that would climb on the screens and fight all night long. Felt like a jungle with all the howling and hissing - hadn't thought about that place for quite a while.
