are you useing a blue tooth headset set up.. try checking the volume without the headset beening tethed to the phone
No. I'm not, Henry. Any other suggestions? Seriously. I will never hear this phone.![]()
take to a local place that deals with a blackberry phones and see if they can help you with the problem ..
Ditto. See if it's defective hardware. My husband had a Curve 8900, I just asked him about his ringer volume and he said it was fine (not quiet). But my sister-in-laws' BB had good ringer volume, then all of a sudden it became very faint (I don't think it was a Curve though). So it might be a bad BB.

Good idea, guys! I was going to do this today to see if they can transfer all my contacts from my old phone.
Shitums. I hope so! I will ask about the volume. Hell, I should make a list!![]()
Check your sound profiles, not just your volume rocker. You can switch it to Loud. Should help. I love Blackberrys. I have the Sprint Bold 9650, still no wifi hotspot for tether but I can tether my laptop. Also, you can download any ringer you want, so you have tons of choices!
Here's a funny I use the iphone ringtone on my BB!
go to crackberry.com and search 9650 volume fix![]()
Is there a setting on BBs that restricts maximum volume like on an iPod?![]()
Not white, not black just passionate shades of grey...

I have tons of ringtones and wall papers. Does anyone know what the diff is between themes and wallpapers?
