I just got back from taking the family to see "Tangled". That is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I didn't pay the extra for 3D but I didn't feel like we missed anything.
We have 3D now too out our theaters! We just saw Burlesque yesterday and I loved it!
What was Tangled about? I know I have seen the preview.
We just saw Burlesque last night. I am not usually into musicals, but I liked it and my wife loved it. She thinks Cher will get an Oscar nom for her song about not seeing the last of me.
"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world." J. R. R. Tolkien
The best family yet sad movie that we watched was "Hachi". By far it is the best movie of the year. Before renting it I saw 365 out of 360 reviews with the 5 stars and the other 5 were rated at 4. Rent this true movie starting Richard Geer and Jason Alexander.
People in all over the world have raved about it. I love the movie so much that I purchased it in blue ray.
The penultimate Harry Potter movie. It is a long movie. I am of two minds about this movie. On one hand the story is complex and diverting, on the other hand, it seems like everything about this Part One is that it leads you to Part Two--a lot of loose ends that I'm sure will be resolved in Part Two. So my total investment is US$7.00 matinee price now and probably another US$7.00 to see Part Two in 2011. I should also include US$3.00 for a small bag of popcorn and another US$3.50 for a small bottle of water!
Yesterday, we took the family out for Thanksgiving dinner then went to see "The Next Three Days" Russell Crowe and Elisabeth Banks! Had not realized it was shot in Pittsburgh. Good flick!
