    My upstairs back window is probably within 10 feet of 2500'. This end of the San Gabriel mts gets up to a little over 6500 feet based on how high I've been with a GPS. To the west are the much shorter Tehachapi mountains still over 6000'.

    Much lower than Colorado where the town was at roughly 7200' and the mountains went up from there well above 10,000' (quite a few above 14000' and tons above 13000')

    Looks like it cleared up just enough... Just took this one

    Quite fantastic how that weather system blew in and out so fast. You've got a wonderful view of the world.
