Thanks for all the great photos, everyone. I'm not outdoors-minded, so I appreciate "being" outdoors vicariously through you.

Love the deer photos. I've seen deer in my yard about 3 times over 36 years here. But we do have birds, squirrels, and rabbits. Thank goodness no raccoons or skunks. Here's a photo of juvenile bluebirds. I had to ask my bird club to identify them.

...and finally situated. Bambi stayed here until 4:00, than took off because of our lawn guys. Bummer...such timing!

Hope you liked the pics...more to come, shortly!

Thanks guys...Bambi returned later in the evening yesterday, without mom in sight. Today, I have kept my eye out and haven't seen him. Hopefully he was able to reconnect back with his mom!

KayKayKay...this could be your virtual backyard, with the bluebirds, kangaroos, bears, owls and deer photos! All great pics!!

When Bambi came back yesterday, I had an opportunity to take some more pics.

From what I gather, fawns are ususally born in the spring and as late as June. From what I understand they lose their spots by the Fall. So they only have their spots for ~3 months or so.

Love the markings on that Flicker. Looks like part of the woodpecker family.
