The Roos were having an all out brawl, kicking each other and biting, took a few pics, we have a young male, and female graze in our house yard, she has a bub in her pouch, it isn't quite ready to come out yet, so looking forward to seeing bub,

The wild ducks stay here on our dam, they seem to have taken up perminate residence, last season they raised 8 young here in our house yard, the young left when old enough but Mr & Mrs Duck have stayed on, we are hoping they raise another lot of young this season

No koalas out here, a few dingos...the king parrots have been here for years, the same pair come back all the time dad is sweetheart, mum is blossom, they are wild, they bring their babies down for us to see each year, sweetheart comes into my office and sits and chats, throws things on the floor from my desk, sits on my computer talking to me then leaves..we can hand feed them but they are wild birds..

After I send my mail orders out I will find the pics and post them, now I know how to, wouldn't live in town and miss all this...

Looking forward to seeing those pics!

Have you ever stuck your hand in a kangaroos pouch? It's so warm and nice....no wonder they stay in there so long!

Yes, we have raised a couple from babies, we had one little girl Nikki, she was my baby used to follow me everywhere, if she got scared she would run to me if I wasn't around she would head bush and hide and call out to me and I would have to go and get her an bring her home, she would stand next to me and put her paw in my hand...we had her for a long time, then she found a mate bought him home a few times then we never saw her after that.....

That is just so special.....gave me goosebumps reading this!

Love all your photos......those parrots are amazing, I find them quite friendly. Up at Mt Tamborine there's a place you can go and the parrots will just sit all over you to get some food, I always think that's amazing they're so trusting

What are those birds on the waters edge, they're quite lovely!

Hi Clermont...I must have missed seeing your post earlier!! Those pics of the birds are so beautiful and vibrant!! How long have you had all those birds for? They are pretty! Love the one inside your house, sitting on your computer desk!! Would love to have those kind of birds here in our neighborhood!!

I have never felt the inside of a kangaroo's pouch also. Your story is amazing how you have raised some of the babies up to adults and I am sure it was hard for you to let them go.

Thanks for sharing...great pics you have!!
