    listening to Deep Purple's "Come Taste The Band" album. U.S. guitarist Tommy Bolin replaced Ritchie Blackmore for this recording.

    Don't worry AA, this thread is fair game, as long as its about music, so definitely no Justin Bieber......but Linkin Park is Definitely allowed Hayles, as i am a massive fan, yes their, new single and album are good, but it fails to arouse me like their first two albums! Hybrid Theory was awesome!!

    I had Vox Angeli playing all last night. Used to be a kids group from France. They have quite a thing going on YouTube. Anyway, looks like the boys gave moved on and the girls stayed together and recorded "Irlande". Very pleasant with a mixture of French and English songs.

    Rolling Stones "Exile On Main Street."
    Purchased the 40th anniversary double CD, remaster last year. Until then all of my Stones listening was from vinyl or vinyl transfer to digital.

    I was hesitant to go CD on this particular LP since the masters were recorded under primitive conditions. Worried that digital fine tuning would reveal too many flaws.

    Once again, I misjudged the boys. Should have known Mick and Keith would never agree to something that might expose a flaw.
