I like music you can feel, not just hear.

    Here's Elgar

I believe Austria is also capable of putting on a show. Here's the New Year's Day concert from Vienna 2012, with the Vienna Boys Choir

    Strauss

Speaking of New Year's Day concert: I like this one, too:

This is one of the best trilogies I've ever read and I recommend it to anyone that likes Sci-fi.

Now, that's an album I wasn't aware of. We love the Gypsy Kings. Do t you think they bring their music to life, with great interpretive passion? Kevin would probably enjoy that aspect

I'll have to check it out. For some reason, the Gipsy Kings have flown under my radar. I don't recall hearing any of their music. Probably one of those bands you know, without realizing you do.

I'm listening to Vox Angeli right now, since it's gone midnight and I need something a bit more peaceful that my usual rock and orchestral stuff.

When I started composing this post, I was listening to "Si seulement je pouvais lui manquer" or "If only I could miss him", originally recorded by Calogero which, if my French is up to par, is about a child's longing for an absent father.

Although disbanded now, Vox Angeli enjoyed some success in France, covering versions of well-known songs by other French and international artists.

L'oiseau is playing now. Originally recorded by René Simard, when he was about 10 years old, it was used as the theme song for the TV series Belle et Sébastien which was screened on British television more years ago than I care to count.
