Yes you are right. The objects are Burmese weights. Also called opium weights (I discovered the name when googling for the)
Back in the 60s the use of the weights was made illegal because they were not accurate.
The challenge is yours now.

It's a silver mounted birds foot brooch,probably from Scotland,likely made from a Ptarmigan or Grouse foot.
