IPad3, 16gb, PC Win7, S.Galaxy Note.
Oxfordshire, UK.
Split plies, not hairs.
Shaun the sheep or M*A*S*H or Tangerine Dream or possibly Queen for King...
It's not a game, rather it's an activity.
You were close with you're use of the word 'woodland' previously.
For an extra clue it would be worth looking at the corners of the item, this is integral to what it does and it may help you to know that the item is square and symmetrical (I can't give a full picture as it has the name of the item on the lower half).
Woodland crafts fun days?
Is there a wing nut at each of the four corners?
You may have to provide additional clues for the benefit of those members from outside the United Kingdom.

Yes, it is symmetrical.Originally Posted by scifan57
It's not a uk specific item, I'm sure they have them all over the globe.
To use this item you may want to take a walk into the woods, a park or even just in your garden to collect the additional items you need to use this.

Ok, here is the give away .....
I'm afraid they you'll have to provide more info than you already have. For example is the wood plaque the whole item? Does it attach to anything else? So far, your clues have done nothing but deepen the mystery.

Would have liked one of those when I was a kid.
Better than flattening them between the pages of
books before mounting.
