You remind me of my CCF ( combined cadet force) days at school. There was a piece of wisdom about not showing a light for too long at night. The saying was worked in with the sequence. Ready ... Take aim ... Fire. I think it had something to do with a 3 second rule?

Scifan, you never cease to amaze me. You must have been collecting for a long long time. Many posts back, you said your collection lives in the house, not the basement. No. Nothing to do with the seat of my truck. I just placed it there to give a black background.

Although this one is Canadian, this device is used the world over.

Of course, it's a flame symbol which must be placed on vehicles carrying flammable materials. The symbol is an internationally recognised warning.
