Looks like a control dial on a large appliance like a clothes washer or dryer.

It's not a dial,it's a lid. It's fastened onto cardboard.

Hahaha. Embarrassed I am since there are probably 4 containers like this in my refrigerator.
It's the spout lid of a box container used for a variety of beverages like milk, juice, ice tea, lemonade, etc., so-on and so-forth.
