Sure. If the poster is online, there's no need, but if they've gone offline I don't see much point in hanging around.

Right, all we have to do is check whether the challenger is online or not before verifying the answer.

Having jumped in with a peer review on a few occasions - I think it's fine. And being off line shouldn't be the only trigger.. If an answer is given and there's no response given by the challenger within (2) hours, the answer should be reviewed so game play can progress.

I think that's the best way to handle it.If Kevin agrees,I'll add it to the copy of the rules in the first post of this thread.Originally Posted by AdmiralAdama

In stressing the importance of every visual clue in a challenge, this is the clue that enabled me to solve the latest challenge. It's a blowup of the bottom left hand corner of one of he photos included in the challenge.I looked for photos taken by this photographer and found the one used in the challenge.

All roads lead to Rome ... but only one of them was “Regina Viarum” (the Queen of Roads): the Appian Road. It connected Rome, starting from Porta Capena, with the strategical ports of Taranto and Brindisi, and was built by Appius Claudius Ciecus’s command in 312 B.C. It was finished in 192 B.C.
I've driven down that road when I delivered in Rome.

I know. I used to like Italy.
Somehow, the ordinary becomes extra special when written in Italian.
