    Happy Holiday Season to all and hope the New Year brings all joy & prosperity -

    My wife is Jewish (I was brought up Catholic; although we now attend a liberal Unitarian church) - so we also do the Chanukah holiday and have a collection of menorahs - just started to light the candles for this season - below is a pic from several years ago w/ all of the candles burning!

    I plan to sit, eat, eat pie, sit some more in my chair, eat leftovers, drink single malt, and fart. After my family member line up for inspection, a few will be selected by the guards to entertain me with rousing Christmas songs, poems of praise, and delightful dance routines.

    My family will lay grand gifts at my feet. If I approve of their minor trinkets, they shall be welcome. If not, they shall forever be banished from my kingdom. I shall visit upon them, biols, bats, leaches, and the ghosts of IRS audits past, aplenty.

    Next time, they will understand the respect that my crown and homemade Throne of Governance demands. OK, it is a thirty dollar bar stool from Wal-Mart.

    Or just watch a little TV and play Angry Birds. I have not decided yet. All I do know is alcohol will be involved.
