Thanks Kevin, it's routine stuff, and I'm pretty sure it should be. However, there are those nagging doubts over the first 48 hours following the tests.

Ending my day at school for now. But at home there's a lot of work to do for tomorrow's lessons.

Just called my local tax board over a billing discrepancy and am kind of amazed because I got a live person, and then the friendly woman somehow steered the conversation to what she's paying in federal taxes, her two sons' surgeries and college loans affecting her payments. It took about two minutes to listen to her and express empathy, and sometimes that's just neighborly to do, I figure. Unexpectedly in return, she told me about something that will save me about $1,000 in taxes this year.

That's heartwarming! Basic human kindness and common courtesy works wonders.

    How nice of her!

Yes, that's a good story, Kay. It makes a difference to speak to a real person in your country too.

Yes, very nice of her. I always marvel that some people have such spirit that what seems like a thankless or dull job doesn't get them down, that they come to work every day and do their best, with an upbeat, helpful attitude. That's always uplifting to me.

Definitely helps to have someone local for many things.

Sometimes I get people in different countries and even though it can be harder to communicate, I feel for them. It often makes me wonder what kind of effort they had to go to to get a call center job in India, for instance, and how they're struggling for a better life and probably have fewer opportunities than we do in the US, for example, which we take for granted.

My mother always said that manners and kindness will always shine through and a smile will always make you feel better and give you less wrinkles.

You listened to what she had to share......I think you both came away from it uplifted.

That's a wonderful experience, for both of you!
