The eclipse was quite beautiful really...I guess it may have had something to do with our viewing position looking out over a calm ocean on a clear morning.
But it was the twilight that made it just lovely and the way the sunlight shone on the water. Quite surreal really.

Admiring some pics a colleague sent me.
These images of the Aurora Borealis, were taken by him overnight about 45 minutes driving time south of Ottawa.
The images are not colour corrected.
