There's a thought!
Kids don't seem to have imagination anymore.
They use digital devices for that now! I used to play on the farm with my two brothers, swim in the dam and ride the horses. We had to share the two saddles between 4 horses. My brother learnt to ride bareback. Those were the days. We had to run a generator for the small tv we had and the oven. You had to make your own entertainment. We played games!! Shock horror. Monopoly, kerplunk, cards, scrabble etc...

also kids grow up too quickly nowadays, as if staying a normal kid is unfashionable
iPad 3 Retina, 16gb wifi only
iPhone 4s 16gb white
13 inch Macbook Pro i5
Apple Airport Express
There is so much to tempt children nowadays, much of it involving consuming content on computers and portable electronic devices. Imaginations don't get a workout like they used to.

We just finished carving out our Pumpkins on the eve of Halloween or aka: Devil's night! Now getting ready to eat and watch xfactor!
BTW...Hayles...I really loved all those board games. We didn't have a lot of things growing up and what we did have I cherished. Loved Monoply, Boggle, Shoots the Ladder, Candy Land, Dominos, Go Fish, Crazy 8, Rubik's cube and also Yahtzee!
