I'm assuming the big brown spider that I killed on top of my hand is what left the stinging red bite mark. If I'm not around tomorrow then you know I died from it![]()

Well, I'm not sure how big a brown recluse is, but I would be taking that one to a hospital. And just for a change I AM being serious. The bite of the brown recluse is potentially fatal.Originally Posted by fleur07

Take the spider too if you can ,makes identification much quicker.
It can rule out potential deadly ones too!!!

Maybe you don't have them in the part of Australia where you live, but there are plenty of spiders in Australia. Some really gruesome ones, actually.
