I have seen loads of Xmas displays already. I'm getting a real Xmas tree this year no matter what it costs. I've asked for an Apple TV, an external hard drive (at least 1TB) and an iPad cover(hopefully the smart one). Anyone else got a Xmas list? We give ourselves Xmas stockings, the works etc...

Never too old for prezzies from Santa.

I go to the christingle service and the crib service and the sometimes the midnight service. Church of England me!

As Hayles said, it's probably time to start posting on the Xmas thread.

Our shopping centre, The Glades, has the decorations up and Santa's grotto goog to go.

There isn't a huge Xmas tree this year.

I need to download some pics for this thread.

Christmas? Time to go shopping for an iPad mini. No, it's not for me.

I actually bought 1 on Friday, took it back on Monday. We were going to give one to our daughter for finishing her Masters degree but thought of something better (yes it is possible)

Will now be buying 1 for each of our daughters for Christmas. Could have kept that one but thought they may want to go bigger or different colour etc so thought it best to buy closer to Christmas.

Your son is going to be stoked!

Lol.....I'll have to check ours to see if they are there already.

They started straight after Christmas last year and went well past Easter.

Just love them too, doesn't worry me at all.......

The second photo includes an actor dressed as a clockwork soldier. A fleeting glance, sorry.

That reminds me, I'll likely be dragged off to suffer through the Nutcracker AGAIN this year.

Why do so many people think that a theater full of four year olds are going to sit quietly through an entire production? You may as well take a couple of dogs to the opera.

That's why we Brits love panto, Kevin.

gods. Last time I saw a panto it was Aladdin with Mike and Bernie Winters. Can't remember where; I'm thinking Coventry for some reason. I must have been about 8 at the time.
