    The thaw will speed up when the warm wet weather arrives this weekend. I hope folks in the UK have built loads of snowmen per Environment Agency recommendations. The idea is that snowmen melt more slowly… and slowed water run off during the thaw reduces flooding risk.

    Four inches of snow today. And a few days of tolerable winter here. I hope it doesn't all melt on Tuesday when we may have a high in the 30s (f).
