    Haha. My wife actually did that. Someone told her not to, so she just had to take up the challenge.

    Oh, you know. The usual trick. Lots of warm water, a wooden spoon, an immense amount of pain and a realization that sometimes instructions are for ones own good.

    That was in Saskatchewan years ago, long before I met her. I still cackle when I think of it. She told me when she was passing the info to me, although quite why she thought I might go around licking basketball hoops is beyond me.

    I suspect you're right.

    Back to the weather. It's -20C and raining here in the Northern Rockies. HOW can it rain at this temperature?

    Cloudy, -3C and breezy. Grape farmers say the warm weather will not harm ice wine grapes. They hope to finish the harvest next week when temps. reach -10C overnight.
