    Burn is right and we are slathering on the sunscreen......there are some very red people around now..it's painful just looking at them.

    Surfers Paradise is really the top tourist area on the Gold Coast here and there are many tourists from overseas here now who have no idea they will burn and burn very quickly. They are going to be mighty sore!

    First thing you learn in a hot country, slap on the cream and wear a hat. ALL THE TIME. reapply after going in the water! Yup! Sure do remember those hot sunny days. Sigh!

    I can't believe that we have corn snow in January! It is now 9°C with wind gusts to 65kph sunny without a cloud in sight. Feels like spring.
