I don't have television, just read about the tornados and hope everyone is ok. Very sad, but might have been worse, people had storm cellars.
Edit: I lived through a couple rough ones, much smaller, in Ft. Worth a few years ago and missed the ones in Oklahoma City in 2003 by a few hours when I left Texas. I passed through right after the storms did. It was amazing how people pull together when these things happen.

Apparently household basement shelters are very expensive to build because of the hard rock on which the city is built. Therefore there are a number of public shelters in which folk can take refuge.
Last night there was some confusion over the numbers who lost their lives. It could have been 24 or 91. Lets prefer that the lower figure is accurate.
Lets hope the communities pull together and find strength as they rebuild their lives.
