Gone. Pretty well
The contractors dismantled the walls to save a load of imperial sized London Yellow Stock bricks - a valuable commodity.
Scaffolding is going up on the multi storey car park in the background. It's de olition will be a noisy dusty experience.

Longevity is costly and cheap is just that.
One thing we knew how to do (at one time, hopefully we still do) is build structures that last. Actually, it was one of our goals and we took pride in our work. It really did not occur to us to build "cheap." Granted, low costs were important, but we seemed to have a few standards and it would never occur to us to build disposable buildings.
Some of my favorite buildings here in SLC are still as rock solid as the day they were built. Fortunately, they are being used rather than torn down.
Sadly, there are economic factors at play and that often means building just good enough.
Here is the Gardo House (AKA, Amelia's Palace) a home of Brigham Young's favorite wife. The church tore it down, sadly, many moons ago. They regret it for bloody sure. I can tell you it would be as solid today as it was when it was built. Look at the LDS Temple. Solid and it will be standing centuries down the road, most likely.
