I must find our door stop wedge with a carved nose on it.
A certain woodcarver in the UK, Robert Thompson, carved a mouse into his tableware and kitchenware. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_(Mouseman)_Thompson

Here are photos from my walk through parkland and gardens West of Bromley's town centre...
A nice clear sky. These allotments are near Bromley south, next to the railway.
The oldest house is listed and 16thC. The timber chalet style is a Colt house. A kit house manufactured in Kent. The modern one is architect designed and crammed onto a small building plot.
The Glassmill holding pond, walk to playing fields and a remainder of gates and railing which once closed off one green space at night!
More to follow....

... At the top of a steep hill (good workout here) stands a beautiful War Memorial.
The sculptor's name at the base of a figure.
The view from the war memorial area includes this towards Upper Norwood and Sydenham. The Crystal Palace stood on the area at the skyline.
Bromley Parish Church was reconstructed after very extensive war damage.
Churchill Gardens, Bromley with its underused open air theatre, friendly wild life and a skateboard area on a tennis court.
A couple of nice late Victorian houses just by the Churchill Gardens. From here I retraced my seps home
