Most of the filming was done at Pinewood. In Europe the film was released as "Doppelgänger."
    It's a fun ride.

I have remembered what that series with the huge ball chasing people was called:-- "The Prisoner" but no clue what it was about. They filmed bits in the model village in Portmerien (sp?) which made the ball look really HUGE. Now I think about it, might have been a giant pig's bladder?

That was in the days before CG, when people had to be really inventive with cardboard, string & washing up bottles. A la Blue Peter of course.

    And forgot "Blakes 7" too.

Shaun the sheep or M*A*S*H or Tangerine Dream or possibly Queen for King...

It was a psychological series written or directed by, and starring, Patrick McGooan? as the prisoner. He was a spy, or similar, held by a criminal. A famous saying was "I am a person, not a number". Patrick was, I think, No 2.

The series achieved a.cult status. I recommend trying Wiki... For the actual facts. My memory ain't that good

Sent from my iPad 1 using iPF - Greetings

Fear not. You can bring forward any subject in the "Anything Goes" thread as long as you're advancing the subject, which you are.
