Very fine. My late uncle was a merchant mariner. Spent his last years at sea on a survey ship. He loved his work, and the solitude. When he passed a few years ago we spread his ashes over the North Atlantic, off Newfoundland.

Talking of the ocean, I see the debris from the tsunami from Japan is heading towards US. Any sign yet?
I see in the BBC news app that there is a clear link between the decline in bees and the pesticides farmers use on their crops. The amount of queen bees produced is the most dramatic effect. The naturally fed hives produced around 14 queens each and those exposed to the pesticide, just two. They say it's not the sole cause but it's a significant one. Science journal uk. I knew that Dr Who was right!....

Bought the apple tv today and so far it's great, love the air play, where you can see what's on your phone or iPad into your tv screen. Need to experiment more but set up was a breeze and watching YouTube was great. Vimeo has some excellent HD videos. Need to buy a hdmi cable, ATM using the one from the blue ray player

Still haven't managed to sell my iPad 1 yet, if I did I would have the new iPad by now. Any one in the London area interested let me know, it's the 16gb wifi only in excellent condition with box and manuals. It also got the apple cover (£30 extra) and screen protector, 1 screen protector even unused. I can post pictures. £200 asking but feel free to make offer

You will love new ipad, my 1st gen still works awesome, but it was time for an upgrade, I love this thing.

Oh, Good Karma--wait 'til Gabriel see's this! I think he's been wanting one of these...

Gabriel will love it when he gets it, I paid £99 for it today, I need to get a hdmi cable for it and that's it pretty much. Good thing I didn't get the earlier one and this one supports 1080p platform and I got full hd tv.

David 79, i agree with what you say, as much as I love the iPad 1 it's time to upgrade, and let some else enjoy the iPad 1.

Oh great, you have it then, this is my first apple tv, and I remember seeing the bigger apple tv's in the stores that used to look like mac mini
