So glad the parse error is gone and the ipf app works smoothly. I have noticed that the emoji characters/smilies dont show up anymore, just the code, so was it the emoji causing the parse eroor and the problem fixed by disabling them ?

Hi there GK. Good to be back. I'm stopping using the emojis and will have to revert to the old fashioned emotionals. <VBG>

Sent from my iPad 1 using iPF - Greetings

Brought to you from my super iPad3 - used as from 03/10/12

Hi Richadams, glad to be back too, have to agree not being able to use emoji to avoid the parse error is a price worth paying, howevernbeing able to use the emoji without problems would be nice too.

Sigh! Deep sorrow not being able to use my smilies. I'm looking forward to my Twilight Breaking Dawn film at the end of the month. What more could you want - romance, vampires, birth, blood, babies, fear and then a big fight between vampires. Yes, I am that sad!

No more parse errors?! I feel like I've been punched in the kidney. It's the end of witty ( or half witty) word play in the Parse error thread. That's parses me off. All of that fun repartee is in the parst now. Parsonally I liked it the old way.

Not surprised. I do not even think the UK has running water yet. Or am I mistaken? I know they still need wood stoves because they have no electrical power. I mean, British folks can't even pronounce Y'all correctly without adding a Pip Pip or Cheerio. And rather than a double cheeseburger, fries and a Coke, y'all have bangers and mash. We have bangers on July 4 and mash is what our forefathers used to make 'shine. Uncivilized compared from rolling up in your Bel-Aire, rolling down the window, ordering from a busty car hop, having her deliver greasy food on roller skates and cranking up Frankie Vallie on the tube radio.

    Smiley!

Seriously, the Drive-In is largely a U.S. of A. thing. We had car hops, cool vintage cars (although in 1955, a 1955 Olds was not a classic or vintage, just a car), blonds in tight sweaters, sock hops, and respect for Fonzie. Sadly, the drive-in has largely disappeared and gone the way of the 45-RPM, 8-Track Tapes, and Fuzzy Dice hanging from the mirror. This country is moving rapidly towards the dark ages but without the stuff that made the DA so very cool.

And a genuine drive-in is way cool.

I say old bean, not sure I like the cut of ones jib! If I could find my way out of this fog that has descended on the streets of Londinium, I'd take my horseless carriage and seek you out to challenge you to a duel!
