I don't have any teaching experience yet, but it will be so gratifying when I can tell kids like my lesson plan or activity. My goal is to make it fun but interesting and educational all at the same time.

In the past, when I've needed something done, I've always had to go get it myself. This is no exception. Unfortunately, there is one step left, the principal has to approve it, so I'm kind of nervous about that (technically, I'm not supposed to teach there because I went there, but my program director made an exception for me because he knows the teacher I want to work with).

Subject change here. The parse error has returned. It's affecting the iPad 2 users thread. The message suggests that my iPF software is out of date. Also when I tried to update apps, Pages and Numbers could not be updated as they were claimed to be incompatible with software.
I haven't updated to IOS 5 yet, and guess this is why I'm getting error messages. However, after other listers' problems with their upgrades, I am not willing to upgrade yet.
Is it worth risking my photos playlist and having comparability issues if I upgrade? Am I being over cautious here?

The parse error still occurs under iOS 5. There is a new IPF update out which still hasn't resolved the issue but there is another coming which we are informed will resolve the issue (fingers crossed so tightly that my circulation has now been cut off). I'm guessing but without iOS 5 you won't be able to apply the upgrade to the IPF app.....but don't quote me on that.

Yippee! I'm getting annoyed with that parse report thing. Everything I have subscribed to is either blocked or eventually gets blocked. I hate going into safari and logging into website. I love the Ipf app! Let's hope it's real soon, Gab!

I get the Parse Error only on page 106 of this thread. Using the app with no other problems as far as I can tell.

Apologies for the errors you're receiving on the iPF App. The developers are on it. It has to with unicode items some folks are putting in their posts (emoji emoticons, etc.) that are causing the forum program problems. They pushed an update a couple of days ago, but everything's still not right and another one is on the way. We appreciate your patience while they catch up.
Waiting for the iOS 5 upgrade is fine if you can live without updated apps for a while. I did it day one on our iPad and iPhone 4 with only one glitch which I fixed by reinstalling my music library on our iPad. If you have everything on your computer, there's no risk of really "losing" anything. iOS 5 was downloaded from Apple over 25,000,000 (yes, million) times last Saturday and Sunday alone so the experience for a majority of folks has obviously been fine. Based on posts here and elsewhere most of problems were caused by server overload and folks not being prepared on their end (updating iTunes, etc.). Your call of course.
Thanks again for your patience!

No problem, Rich - it's nice that it works on Safari, and the app works with most threads most of the time. No biggie.
