Had a rather strange breakfast today (but it worked!), Heston Blumenthal Prawn Cocktail followed by a lemon filled iced Belgian bun!!

We use ready chopped garlic which is excellent, and ready made tomato sauce.

ADDED... I have a technique for chopping onions which is tear -free. I don't use goggles or a spoon. I simply ensure I dice the onion without cutting into the root area. It's a little fiddly. Peel the onion the hold it root down between finger and thumb. Carefully slice down on a NS axis then an EW axis. Hold everything together. Turn the onion on its side and slice through to complete the dicing. I then put the base root side up on the board and make careful angled cuts to trim to the root.
This works every time
