My next door neighbors who are from the Philippines have whole pig at all the parties. We're always invited and it's such a great food fest! Actually 3/4's of my building are Filipino. The parents live upstairs, one daughter with her family next door and the other daughter and her family across the hall. You would feel right at home, Quake. :-). I don't remember where they are from, though.

That's the nicest thing with Filipinos. I myself can't stay away from my family. Can you smell the common aroma in this units. Typical Asian that could really make you hungry most of the time. What State are you from?

Thinking about that too. If not, almost Filipino because of the food. Lol! I love food.

Love lechon. Filipinos do roast pig the best out of all cuisines I've tried.

I know a lot of Pinoys. Love being invited to their parties -- food galore and lots of singing, by people who can actually sing (not me, lol).

I can smell when my friends have been making adobo, that's for sure!

Filipino families that I know are amazingly close and warm. Turn up at a Pinoy party and everyone is related -- even the guests who aren't Filipino, it feels like! It's nice to be honorary Filipino for a day.
